• Develop infrastructure that empowers analytics and data science teams to create innovative and impactful solutions for clients.
• Support clients in transitioning their existing business intelligence and data warehouse solutions to Google Cloud.
• Design, construct, and enhance reliable data pipelines, ensuring data is readily accessible for visualization and machine learning applications.
• Create and execute new data warehouse and data mart solutions, which include transforming, testing, deploying, and documenting data.
• Architect, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud-based infrastructure to guarantee high availability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with technology partners such as Google Cloud, Snowflake, dbt, and Looker, mastering their technologies and building relationships with their engineers.
• Engage in an agile and dynamic environment with a team comprising data engineers, BI analysts, data scientists, and machine learning professionals.
• Apply software engineering best practices to analytics processes, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.
• 4+ years of experience in a data-related position (e.g., Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer).
• Practical experience with Looker, dbt, modern data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery, and Kimball data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java, along with strong SQL skills.
• Over 5 years of experience in designing and developing scalable data solutions.
• Capability to write tested, resilient, and well-documented code.
• Experience in constructing and managing cloud infrastructure (GCP or AWS is a plus).
• Ability to take initiative and lead projects from inception to completion.
• Natural aptitude for managing multiple projects and clients concurrently.
• Proficient in writing analytical SQL, understanding the distinction between functional SQL and performant SQL.
• Experience in converting business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to a diverse range of audiences.
• Experience in offering technical guidance and direction on projects.
