📋 Description

• Develop and enhance data models and schemas for analytics, reporting, and machine learning.

• Design and construct ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform extensive datasets.

• Implement performance optimization techniques, including tuning, partitioning, and clustering to improve query efficiency and reduce costs.

• Establish and uphold data quality standards, governance frameworks, and security protocols.

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create data solutions that integrate with BI tools and machine learning models.

• Document data pipelines, workflows, and processes thoroughly.

• Share best practices and provide mentorship to junior data engineers.

• Design and architect data infrastructure tailored for analytical workloads.

• Construct data warehouses, dimensional models, and data marts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong expertise in SQL with experience in crafting complex queries.

• Proficient in Python, particularly in developing ETL pipelines.

• Familiarity with deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Understanding of data governance best practices within a cloud setting.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with specialized training or relevant professional qualifications.

• Experience with machine learning workflows on GCP is preferred.

• Background in working with healthcare data is preferred; familiarity with Tuva or OMOP Models is a plus.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with data scientists, analysts, and product owners.
