This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Design, develop, and enhance data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines to support batch, micro‑batch, and streaming workloads.
• Create ETL/ELT workflows that merge data from enterprise systems, operational platforms, external sources, and commercial applications.
• Implement scalable data processing architectures that facilitate open lakehouse models and medallion-layered data products.
• Ensure that pipelines are dependable, maintainable, cost-effective, and compliant with enterprise engineering standards.
• Develop data models that cater to analytics, reporting, and data product consumption across raw, refined, and curated layers.
• Utilize medallion architecture principles to guarantee data quality, reusability, and consistency across various domains.
• Participate in architectural decisions to achieve a balance between performance, scalability, governance, and operational simplicity.
• Aid in the integration of ERP and enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and alignment with business processes.
• Establish data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring frameworks to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Implement foundational data governance practices, including lineage, metadata management, cataloging, and access controls.
• Collaborate with governance and data product teams to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work with CSA teams, solution architects, and data product leads to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
• Partner with customer engineering and analytics teams to facilitate onboarding, adoption, and operationalization of delivered pipelines.
• Engage in Agile delivery processes, offering technical insights on sizing, sequencing, and implementation planning.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience with open lakehouse architecture in Azure, GCP, AWS, and/or Snowflake.
• At least 5 years of experience in creating automated data pipelines and conducting data modeling.
• Over 5 years of experience in writing SQL, Python, and utilizing modern ETL/ELT frameworks.
