Senior Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and implement architectures for data ingestion on Snowflake.

• Create, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines and architectures utilizing AWS.

• Construct and manage ingestion pipelines that integrate various data sources.

• Establish and execute data quality checks, validation schemas, and testing frameworks.

• Implement data governance elements, including glossary definitions and data stewardship practices.

• Develop the ingestion validation UI based on Streamlit and its backend logic.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.

• Contribute to the documentation and ongoing enhancement of data reliability and quality processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in data engineering.

• Strong practical experience with Snowflake-based ETL pipelines (Essential).

• Practical experience with Snowflake Cortex (Preferred).

• Practical experience in constructing and maintaining data pipelines on AWS (Preferred).

• Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines for data workflows (Preferred).

• Comprehensive understanding of data quality, validation frameworks, and governance practices.

• Experience with AWS - Snowflake data sharing via Iceberg tables (Preferred).

• Excellent communication abilities, capable of working independently and collaborating with both technical and business teams.

• Experience with AWS ecosystem tools such as Glue, Athena, EMR, S3/Lambda, and infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK, along with dbt (Preferred).
