Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Convert raw data into actionable insights to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Work collaboratively with the Data Hub and DataOps teams to manage, enhance, and scale the data platform.

• Create robust data architectures and develop efficient data ingestion pipelines.

• Guarantee data availability throughout the organization.

• Incorporate data solutions into business operations while implementing automation and monitoring techniques.

• Perform comprehensive testing and documentation to ensure data availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in Data Engineering or comparable roles.

• Strong background in Azure Cloud services and data platforms, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Event Hubs.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, and GitHub.

• High proficiency in Python or R for data ingestion, in addition to experience with PySpark and Pandas.

• Advanced understanding of logical and physical data modeling, specifically in Data Warehousing and Data Lakes.

• Exceptional skills in SQL and NoSQL databases, with a strong command of T-SQL and PL/SQL.

• Experience in making data accessible and consuming data via APIs for ingestion.

• Proficient in utilizing visualization tools such as Power BI.

• Comfortable working within Agile frameworks.
