Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

• Design and sustain scalable data pipelines.

• Convert business needs into technical specifications.

• Oversee data warehousing solutions.

• Develop custom scripts and components within data migration tools.

• Diagnose and enhance data pipeline performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering and data science.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and independently deliver scalable solutions.

• Comprehensive lifecycle experience (architecture, build, deployment, support) in Agile/CI-CD settings.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication abilities.

• Experience collaborating across data science, analytics, and business teams.

• Ability to assist both reporting and advanced analytics use cases.

• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

• Commitment to documentation and the creation of reusable patterns.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with internal teams and external clients.

• Must have a United States of America Visa. If you do not currently hold one, you should be prepared to follow the necessary procedures in your country to obtain it, as this role requires travel.

• Advanced knowledge of Matillion and Snowflake.

• Advanced expertise in ETL, ELT, and APIs.

• Proficient in SQL and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).

• Experience in data modeling and data architecture.

• Proficiency in Azure Machine Learning, Power BI, and Microsoft SQL Server.

• SnowPro Core Certifications, SnowPro Advanced Architect, SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate.

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.

• Matillion Data Productivity Cloud Foundations Certification.

• Qlik Talend Core Data Integration Certified Developer.

• Certified dbt Developer.
