Senior Data Architect – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to our clients on the introduction or enhancement of cloud-based or on-premise Big Data architectures.

• Conduct requirement analyses and supervise the implementation process.

• Assume full responsibility for end-to-end implementation, covering data integration to application in analytical models and operationalization.

• Prepare and analyze extensive structured and unstructured datasets using scalable cloud infrastructures.

• Work in close collaboration with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to create analytical models, perform predictive analyses, and establish preventive measures.

• Consistently suggest enhancements to boost the efficiency of implemented Big Data solutions.

• Strengthen existing client relationships, pinpoint new projects, and independently pursue new customer acquisitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree or completed vocational training in IT, accompanied by relevant professional experience.

• Several years of experience with a major cloud platform (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure) and modern Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

• Proven project experience in cloud and Big Data architectures.

• Ideally, familiarity with real-time infrastructures (e.g., Kafka) or similar cloud services.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

• Proficiency in Scala, Java, or Python is a plus.

• Willingness to travel within the DACH region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland).

• Ideally, initial experience in sales or customer development.

• An existing, industry-relevant professional network.

• Fluent in German (minimum C1) and English.
