Senior Data Architect – Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• Define and evolve the data architecture, ensuring scalability, availability, and maintainability.

• Design data models and standards for analytical and operational platforms.

• Lead architectural decisions related to data pipelines, storage, processing, and consumption.

• Create solutions to support use cases for Machine Learning, AI, and advanced analytics.

• Promote best practices in quality, observability, security, and data governance.

• Establish technical guidelines for the construction and operation of data products.

• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and product teams to ensure solutions align with business needs.

• Participate in architecture reviews and serve as a technical reference for the Data Engineering team.

• Advocate for a long-term vision regarding the company's data strategy.

• Identify opportunities for simplification, optimization, and modernization of the data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in data engineering, software, or data architecture.

• At least 3 years in technical leadership or architectural roles.

• Experience designing data platforms in cloud environments and distributed systems.

• Experience working with large volumes of data and event-driven architectures.

• Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and data science teams.
