This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Create, execute, and enhance data models, databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to fulfill data storage, retrieval, and analytical requirements.
• Assist in formulating the strategic vision and roadmap for data architecture, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and goals.
• Establish data architecture standards, best practices, and frameworks to maintain the integrity, reliability, and scalability of our data assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, data science, and business sectors to ensure that data architecture initiatives meet business needs and technical objectives.
• Design and implement data integration solutions, ETL pipelines, and data governance frameworks to guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all systems and processes.
• Develop and execute master data management (MDM) strategies, data quality management procedures, and metadata management solutions to support data governance and compliance.
• Assess and suggest data technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
• Foster strong partnerships with data engineering to ensure proper alignment, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ongoing learning.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data management.
• Proficiency in data modeling, database technologies, data warehousing, and ingestion frameworks.
• Familiarity with NoSQL, Kafka, Middleware, and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake).
• Experience in designing and implementing callable, high-performance, and resilient data architectures for complex enterprise environments.
• Technical expertise in data quality standards, governance, and design.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with senior technology leaders at all organizational levels.
