Senior Data Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Collect and refine requirements from analytics, finance, and business stakeholders.

• Design and enhance data warehouse (DWH) architecture, including operational data stores (ODS) and data marts, while considering audit requirements.

• Develop and sustain financial data pipelines.

• Create, implement, and support incremental data processing pipelines.

• Develop and optimize data marts within cloud data warehouse environments.

• Analyze source systems and design comprehensive data flows.

• Maintain and improve workflow orchestration processes.

• Engage in testing, data validation, and release activities.

• Investigate data quality concerns and financial inconsistencies.

• Maintain the technical documentation necessary for audit and data governance protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, DWH Engineer, or Data Analyst with a focus on data warehouses.

• Practical experience with enterprise data warehouses.

• Strong comprehension of DWH architecture and data layers, including ODS and Data Marts.

• Familiarity with incremental data loading, historical data management, and deduplication techniques.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Experience in designing and optimizing data marts.

• Familiarity with cloud data warehouse platforms, including partitioning, clustering, and cost optimization strategies.

• Experience with workflow orchestration tools.

• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business needs into data solutions.

• Basic knowledge of Python.

• Proficient in Git.

• Experience with Data Quality, Data Governance, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management.
