This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of delivery and execution.

• Oversee the delivery of data initiatives, ensuring that roadmaps are completed on schedule, with high quality, and in alignment with business objectives.

• Lead and develop the data organization.

• Manage and provide guidance to data analysts and data engineers.

• Establish technical direction and elevate standards for analytics, data modeling, and insights.

• Transform data into actionable decisions.

• Conduct advanced analysis using Python and SQL to identify trends and influence product development, customer experience, and strategic direction.

• Construct and expand data infrastructure.

• Oversee data pipelines and analytics architecture utilizing dbt and Amazon Redshift.

• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability as the organization expands.

• Safeguard data integrity and quality.

• Define and uphold standards for data quality, validation, and governance.

• Instill confidence in analytics and reporting throughout the organization.

• Collaborate across departments.

• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Support, and Engineering to align data initiatives with actual business requirements.

• Advocate for modern data engineering practices.

• Cultivate a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and innovation.

• Demonstrated experience as a people leader.

• Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and scaling technical teams in dynamic environments.

• Strong hands-on technical expertise.

• In-depth knowledge of: Python (data analysis, automation).

• SQL (complex queries, optimization).

• dbt (data modeling and transformations).

• Amazon Redshift (analytics and data warehousing).

• Comprehensive understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and scalable system design.

• Comfortable spearheading initiatives using agile methodologies.

• Capable of balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.

• Effective problem solver with a significant impact.

• Excellent communicator.
