This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Provide close support to stakeholders in making decisions based on data insights.

• Collaborate with various InPost departments and business lines.

• Collect requirements, leverage large-scale, real-time data from multiple sources, analyze it, and offer insights and recommendations on critical business areas and processes.

• Design, develop, and enhance our data model layers to facilitate optimized and scalable calculations and visualizations for successful analytics outcomes.

• Write code that adheres to our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale data environment.

• Uphold and promote these standards through code reviews.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts, to deliver integrated data solutions.

• Prototype and coordinate data visualizations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical role managing large volumes of data.

• Experience in data modeling and the implementation of complex data-driven solutions is highly advantageous.

• Strong expertise in Python/PySpark for data analysis, SQL for data processing, and Bash scripting for managing Git repositories.

• Proven capability to extract insightful and actionable conclusions from complex data and effectively communicate recommendations to business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• In-depth understanding of the technical elements of data warehousing, including dimensional data modeling and ETL/ELT processes.

• Ability to convert business requirements into data models.

• Strong grasp of real-time data, including the ability to request and manage data from both backend and frontend systems, encompassing internal and external platforms.

• Self-motivated and self-managing, with the capacity to work independently and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

• Ability to read or communicate in French is a plus.

• Experience working with Apache Spark in Databricks is advantageous.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS is a plus.

• Knowledge of modern data building tools like Apache Airflow, DBT, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker is an advantage.
