Senior Data Analytics Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, sustain, and enhance predictive models and operational forecasts that assist in Claims demand and capacity planning.

• Deliver accurate and consistent outcomes while enhancing process integrity through automation, optimized workflows, contemporary data visualization, and business intelligence solutions.

• Develop and maintain Python workflows for operational forecasting, reporting, and scalable analytical solutions.

• Extract and transform datasets using Python and SQL to generate feature datasets; conduct data validation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.

• Automate manual and spreadsheet-driven processes, identify efficiency enhancements, and implement innovative modeling concepts to refine business processes.

• Convert business inquiries into analytical solutions, provide high-quality data models to support stakeholder performance initiatives, and communicate effectively with stakeholders, product owners, and team members.

• Foster peer-to-peer cross-training and enhance team capabilities through collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing, maintaining, or supporting predictive models.

• Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis, feature engineering, workflow development, and model creation.

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in data reporting with advanced SQL (including joins, aggregations, and window functions).

• Experience with large or complex datasets.

• Skills in troubleshooting and debugging analytical processes.

• Experience in constructing and implementing both short-term and long-term demand and capacity forecasting models is an advantage.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in creating forecasts and/or technical tools using various data reporting and visualization software.

• Intermediate technical knowledge of data management processes (such as data flow within systems, data mapping, etc.) and/or experience in integrating data from multiple sources, including databases, unstructured data, and/or other enterprise data stores.

• Strong understanding of forecast reporting and business acumen (financial skills, attention to detail).

• Advanced ability to query, compile, analyze, and integrate information from diverse sources to derive insights and form recommendations.

• Demonstrated capability in working with numerical data and developing medium to high complexity formulas.

• Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate in a virtual team environment.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
