This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Take charge of the comprehensive marketing measurement strategy encompassing experimentation, media mix modeling, and attribution for both paid and PLG channels.
• Develop and refine the attribution framework that integrates platform data, multi-touch attribution, MMM, and experimental results.
• Convert measurement results into recommendations regarding investment, budget, pipeline, revenue, and efficiency.
• Inform stakeholders about causality, model uncertainty, and the limitations of platform-reported metrics.
• Create and execute user-level and geo-level incrementality tests.
• Compute incremental lift, incrementality percentage, and incremental ROAS/CPA.
• Develop templates and playbooks for experiment analysis.
• Collaborate with owners of paid search, paid social, lifecycle, website, and SEO channels to formulate experimentation roadmaps.
• Create and maintain media mix models to assess channel contributions, marginal returns, and optimal budget distribution.
• Factor in seasonality, adstock, and saturation effects, and validate models through backtesting and experiment reconciliation.
• Transform MMM insights into budget scenarios and forecasts for channels and regions.
• Establish metric definitions, model documentation, and reusable self-service analytics patterns.
• Utilize AI tools to expedite analysis and implement AI-forward marketing practices.
• Identify and resolve marketing data tracking, expenditure, and platform-export issues at their source.
• Over 6 years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or a related field.
• Emphasis on performance marketing and/or PLG growth.
• Profound knowledge of marketing attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling.
• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Skilled in Python or R for conducting experiment analysis and modeling.
• Experience in designing, executing, and interpreting digital marketing experiments across various channels such as search, social, display, email, and in-product.
• Familiarity with building or closely collaborating on MMM and/or advanced attribution models.
• Strong business acumen with fluency in CAC, LTV, payback period, conversion rates, and funnel performance.
• Capability to create self-service tools and scalable analytics frameworks.
• Ability to merge technical insights with strategic context.
• Regularly utilize LLMs and AI tools, understanding their influence on analyst work.
• Proficient in conveying causal analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
• Capacity to excel in asynchronous, autonomous work environments.
