Senior Data Analyst, Global Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to comprehend business objectives and pinpoint significant analyses, metrics, and measures of success.

• Assist in defining quantifiable outcomes that are in alignment with organizational aims.

• Prepare, transform, and validate data, including handling large or intricate datasets.

• Utilize statistical techniques and analytical modeling to evaluate trends, drivers, and possible outcomes.

• Create clear visualizations and data narratives customized for various audiences.

• Oversee analytics projects from start to finish, encompassing scoping, planning, and timeline management.

• Act as a subject matter expert and offer guidance to junior analysts.

• Develop reusable data products that cater to users with differing levels of data literacy.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in analytics, reporting, or data-centric positions.

• Strong capability to comprehend complex data structures and implement advanced data preparation and quality techniques.

• Experience utilizing intermediate statistical methods for business analysis.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying, transformation, and analysis.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and the design of dashboards for business stakeholders.

• Knowledge of contemporary analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks or similar).

• Strong project management skills, including organizing tasks, prioritizing effectively, and communicating progress.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
