This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructures.
• Ensure the quality, integrity, security, and scalability of data.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, product, and business teams.
• Implement and uphold best practices in data governance, cataloging, and management.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
• Assist in the definition and maintenance of data models that meet analytical and operational needs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Proven experience in data engineering, specifically in the development and maintenance of production pipelines.
• Proficiency in data-focused programming languages, particularly Python and/or SQL.
• Experience with cloud tools and services (preferably Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge in data modeling and best practices of data architecture.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes, system integration, and handling large volumes of data.
• Understanding of data security, governance, and quality standards.
