This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership to develop, implement, and expand a financial analytics framework that improves forecasting and overall business performance.
• Create sophisticated data models to assess financial and operational performance, providing deeper insights into revenue, margins, and critical factors.
• Convert intricate financial data into clear, actionable insights that assist executives, business unit leaders, and operational teams.
• Discover opportunities to integrate predictive and diagnostic analytics into the financial decision-making process.
• Develop and sustain dashboards and reporting tools that deliver timely, accurate, and relevant information to stakeholders.
• Standardize financial reporting metrics, hierarchies, and master data definitions to ensure uniformity across business units and corporate functions.
• Utilize visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Oracle Analytics, or similar) to craft intuitive, data-driven narratives for executive audiences.
• Collaborate closely with business unit finance teams, Global Sales, and Corporate FP&A to ensure alignment on financial data and insights.
• Partner with IT and data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure, quality, and governance for financial analytics.
• Facilitate the adoption of data-driven decision-making within Finance by coaching and mentoring colleagues in best practices for analytics.
• Assess and implement leading practices in financial analytics, modeling, and visualization.
• Suggest improvements to forecasting and planning processes through analytics-driven methodologies.
• Promote automation and efficiency in data preparation and reporting processes.
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Corporate Finance.
• Proficient in Data Analysis.
• Skilled in Developing Financial Models.
• Experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis.
• Knowledge of Financial Systems Development.
• Competence in Forecasting.
• Familiarity with Visualization Techniques.
