This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Analyze and interpret data sources while designing data models to capture both structured and unstructured information.
• Conduct statistical modeling, quantitative analysis, and data mining to derive valuable insights.
• Create and present Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) tailored to various organizational needs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Employ data visualization tools to craft reports and dashboards that effectively convey insights.
• Engage in Data Governance initiatives to set and uphold data quality standards and metrics.
• Ensure optimal practices in data collection, recording, analysis, maintenance, storage, adaptation, retrieval, and transmission from diverse data sources.
• Assist in the training and development of Data Stewards across departments to boost data analysis and visualization skills.
• Keep abreast of various Data Architectures to accommodate the organization’s diverse data requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate system performance for ongoing enhancements.
• Collaborate with the Information Technology team to facilitate the smooth integration of data tools and resources.
• Offer technical support and guidance to other Analysts to resolve complex issues.
• Guide the adoption of contemporary Data technologies in line with organizational needs and demands.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of proven success in a similar position.
• Hands-on experience in developing Dashboards and reporting using Tableau and Tableau Prep.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, and MS Access.
• Proficiency in quantitative data management and analysis, along with expertise in statistical and data visualization applications like Tableau Desktop.
• Familiarity with Cloud-based Data warehouse platforms like Snowflake and Data Integration (ETL) platforms like Informatica.
• Support the deployment, enablement, and optimization of Tableau AI capabilities, including feature evaluation, testing, and collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Experience utilizing Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Github Copilot) to enhance analytical workflows while upholding organizational data governance standards.
• Promote self-service analytics and data literacy initiatives throughout the organization by empowering business users to leverage data effectively through Tableau.
• Skilled in creating, troubleshooting, and improving organizational data sets.
• Proficient in utilizing large and diverse data sets to tackle business challenges and uncover hidden patterns.
• Excellent writing ability with a proven track record in developing clear, concise, and comprehensive reports, briefing notes, and presentations for varied audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to diagnose complex issues and propose multiple potential solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral communication, and relationship management skills.
• Experience with Data Science tools such as R, Python, and SAS is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Salesforce reporting capabilities is a plus.
