Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze, cleanse, validate, and convert client-supplied data from various sources and formats prior to system upload.

• Execute SQL queries and Python scripts to manage, reconcile, and validate extensive transactional datasets.

• Investigate data quality concerns, exceptions, and discrepancies, and present findings to project managers for client resolution.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to address data-related issues and ensure precision.

• Assess project manager requests to establish data processing needs and deliver processed datasets.

• Suggest and implement process enhancements that boost accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a data analyst dealing with structured datasets, especially large record-based or transactional data.

• Proficiency in Python (preferably with pandas) for data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, joining, filtering, aggregation, and validation.

• Proven capability to identify and resolve data quality issues, including duplicates, missing values, and record inconsistencies.
