Finance Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in initiatives aimed at ensuring data integrity and normalization.

• Produce reports from various systems.

• Develop Power BI dashboards to enhance visibility and deliver real-time analytics.

• Maintain data quality through tagging and quality assurance measures.

• Support the creation and analysis of reports.

• Oversee master data management, including creation, updates, and deletions.

• Design and sustain the reporting environment, encompassing data sources, security, and metadata.

• Aid the data warehouse by identifying and refining reporting requirements.

• Assess and implement new or upgraded software, facilitating strategic decisions regarding new systems.

• Resolve issues related to the reporting database and its reports.

• Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems.

• Anticipate future needs concerning personnel, technology, budget, and business, and devise solutions to address those needs.

• Create automation and minimize manual tasks using tools such as Power-Automate and AI (e.g., Chat GPT, Claude).

• Ensure data accuracy and timely deliverables by adhering to thorough policies and processes.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned, including projects that span departments and functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with large datasets and reporting tools (Power BI or Tableau).

• Background in finance or accounting is advantageous.

• Experience in writing or updating scripts for data extraction and analysis.

• Demonstrated expertise in BI and Analytics.

• Familiarity with Power-Automate and AI tools (e.g., Chat GPT, Claude) is a plus.

• Understanding of industry standards is recommended; familiarity with agile development methodologies is beneficial.
