This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize data tools and capabilities to enhance service delivery for clients' customers and to advance the Data & Analytics Road Map.
• Perform discovery and comprehensive data analysis to identify customer needs and assist in formulating plans and activities aimed at improving data quality.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret business and data requirements to create comprehensive data product solutions, including reviewing data models (entity relationship diagrams, dimensional data models), ETL processes, business rules, data management, governance, lineage, metadata, and reporting elements.
• Handle large data sets using SQL to identify patterns within the data.
• Conduct data profiling with various tools to understand the data's structure, aiding in the formulation of data quality checks and curation rules to be developed.
• Collaborate with customers to interpret data and address issues as needed.
• Work alongside data owners and stewards to implement, maintain, and enhance data governance, quality, security, and privacy standards, along with related policies and procedures.
• Draft technical specifications for data ingestion and transformation rules.
• Collaborate with data architects to design data models for efficient data consumption.
• Assist in the development of standards and best practices within the Data Analysis team, including documentation templates and agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor's or college degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field of study.
• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in gathering and documenting requirements as well as technical specifications for data solutions.
• Proficient SQL scripting abilities.
• Knowledge of Python is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the AWS platform and its tools related to analytics and data (S3, Redshift, Glue).
• Understanding of the Snowflake platform is a plus.
• Experience in data governance and metadata management (standards, format, definition, structure, tagging, transmission, manipulation, use, and management of data).
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo and Atlan.
• Experience in integrated marketing, digital agency, marketing services, or consulting environments is preferred.
