Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for software development initiatives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, end-users, project managers, and developers to ensure applications fulfill business needs.

• Convert business objectives into technical solutions.

• Support the software development lifecycle from the initial concept to implementation.

• Collect, analyze, and document both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Assess and enhance business processes to align with software capabilities.

• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain Statements of Work (SOWs), user stories, process flows, and training documentation.

• Facilitate user acceptance testing, identify and rectify defects, and assist end-users during testing and go-live phases.

• Aid in project planning, tracking, and change management activities.

• Analyze impacts, manage risks, and communicate project progress updates.

• Coordinate the activities of the business analyst team on IT projects.

• Mentor and support newer team members.

• Quantify expected solution approaches and business impacts using analytical and relational database skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Process Mapping, and Documentation.

• More than 3 years of experience in Data Warehousing.

• Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

• Proven experience in leading teams and mentoring junior analysts.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and non-technical partners.

• Familiarity with SQL and Power BI is advantageous.
