This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Leadership teams to establish measurement standards, identify growth opportunities, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Take ownership of product performance and customer behavior analyses utilizing cohort/retention analysis and funnel analytics.
• Act as the technical authority and comprehensive manager of product data sources, analytics infrastructure, data models, and measurement frameworks.
• Define and track category health KPIs, such as adoption, retention, conversion, unit economics, and cross-selling.
• Assess feature adoption, pinpoint opportunities, and guide roadmap prioritization through data insights.
• Develop measurement frameworks for product launches, experiments, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify drivers of customer retention through cohort analysis and suggest long-term engagement enhancements.
• Enhance analytical processes and automate repetitive workflows.
• Lead the creation and upkeep of dbt data models and orchestrations to ensure accuracy, modularity, and performance.
• Construct reliable self-service reporting and semantic data models.
• Convert ambiguous business inquiries into structured analyses and deliver recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Over 5 years of experience in data-related roles.
• Proficient SQL skills, encompassing efficient, maintainable, and thoroughly tested queries.
• Experience in building and managing analytics workflows using dbt.
• Strong version control proficiency with Git.
• Demonstrated experience in retention/cohort analysis and funnel/conversion analysis.
• Familiarity with statistical experimentation and A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience with new product, market, or category launches is highly advantageous.
• Excellent project management and communication abilities, coupled with a results-driven approach.
