This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the Analytics & AI-Driven Data Engine.

• Create and manage company-wide dashboards utilizing Metabase and Amplitude.

• Establish KPI frameworks for operations, growth, product, and finance.

• Design the tracking architecture and guide engineering teams on instrumentation using Segment.

• Ensure a unified source of truth across all systems.

• Set the foundation for predictive analytics and AI-driven insights over time.

• Take ownership of the Data Layer.

• Write complex SQL queries.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance schemas and data models.

• Enhance data reliability, governance, and documentation.

• Contribute to scalable transformation workflows, preferably using dbt.

• Drive measurable operational leverage.

• Identify workflow bottlenecks and assess their financial impact.

• Develop models that inform hiring strategies, capacity forecasting, and cost structures.

• Replace manual reporting with automated, scalable systems.

• Transition the organization from lagging indicators to leading indicators.

• Influence strategic decision-making.

• Convert complex analyses into clear business recommendations.

• Present findings directly to leadership.

• Support experimentation, forecasting, and growth modeling.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL at an expert level.

• Extensive experience with innovative data tools, emphasizing an AI-first mindset.

• Deep knowledge of Metabase, PowerBI, and Tableau.

• Experience managing tracking through Segment.

• Comfortable working with both structured and semi-structured data, including JSON.

• Think systemically rather than just in spreadsheets.

• Prioritize business outcomes over superficial metrics.

• Influence decisions beyond merely reporting numbers.

• Thrive in uncertain and early-stage environments.

• Demonstrate high ownership and a bias for action.

• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is a bonus.

• Have built analytics infrastructure from the ground up (bonus).

• Extensive use of dbt is a plus.

• Familiarity with Python or R for automation or modeling is a bonus.
