Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform quantitative and statistical evaluations of intricate financial and operational data to uncover trends, predict results, and produce actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect business and analytical requirements, converting them into data-driven solutions, reports, and recommendations.

• Create and sustain data models, automated reporting processes, and data visualizations that enhance data accuracy, convey financial trends, and support both internal and external stakeholders.

• Construct database queries and utilize SQL and Python to manage, analyze, and automate financial data and reporting.

• Design and implement predictive modeling and A/B testing techniques to assess strategies and forecast business results.

• Manage financial analytics projects from initiation and planning through execution and delivery, ensuring compliance with SOX controls while enhancing operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to transform insights into actionable strategies.

• Work alongside FP&A and cross-functional teams to facilitate product development, provider network operations, commercial strategy, marketing, and partnership initiatives.

• Articulate the narrative behind the data to non-technical stakeholders, translating insights into tangible results.

• Navigate the complexities of a multi-faceted healthcare marketplace, understanding stakeholder needs and market dynamics.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in an analytical position with a significant finance emphasis.

• BA/BS in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, applied mathematics, economics, computer science, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel / Google Sheets.

• Experience in a public company and familiarity with SOX compliance procedures.

• Comfortable with statistics and data manipulation.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
