This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the analytics liaison for a specific Brightline business unit and assist its stakeholders and operational activities.
• Collaborate with data leadership and analytics portfolio managers to enhance the portfolio’s analytics infrastructure.
• Identify technical debt while managing scoping, prioritization, and trade-offs.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding data and analytics.
• Establish portfolio metrics and operational KPI drivers.
• Evaluate the impact of engineering changes on data and metrics quality.
• Implement data governance measures and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Develop technical tracking requirements in conjunction with Engineering and Marketing Operations.
• Architect and build analytics-layer architecture utilizing dbt and Claude Code.
• Convert stakeholder requirements into technical specifications using frameworks such as UML.
• Uphold data design standards and review pull requests.
• Manage the dbt Semantic Layer as the authoritative source for metric definitions.
• Diagnose development and coding challenges.
• Create documentation that empowers AI agents to respond to analytics inquiries.
• Recognize business challenges and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Deliver insights and suggestions through data storytelling.
• Create impactful data visualizations.
• Develop and sustain business intelligence dashboards.
• Respond to ad hoc inquiries and generate reports using custom SQL.
• Assist data engineering with data-pipeline feature specifications.
• Keep abreast of advancements in AI technologies related to healthcare, technology, and data analytics.
• Work alongside portfolio stakeholders to influence business strategy.
• Support and manage other assigned duties.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as data science, statistics, computer science, or business analytics, or an equivalent level of practical experience.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or similar analytical roles.
• Experience in the healthcare sector or a senior analytics role involving analytics platforms, strategy, or data governance.
• Capability to solve complex, well-defined problems through innovative problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to foresee and articulate business requirements.
• Strong skills in data communication and storytelling.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL.
• Familiarity with modern business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
• Understanding of data architecture principles and UML or similar technical communication methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing technical documentation that is comprehensible to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new AI tools.
• Acquaintance with web analytics and digital marketing metrics.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance as it pertains to data analytics and data sharing.
• Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling is preferred.
• Familiarity with business forecasting, GitHub, dbt Cloud, Agile, Python, Jira, and Confluence is preferred.
• Must reside in the United States and maintain permanent residency.
