
Senior D365 Supply Chain Functional Consultant – Client Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Diagnose and resolve managed services break/fix support challenges at a senior level within the established SLA’s, assisting clients in reducing business interruptions.
• Evaluate incoming cases.
• Proactively follow up on and monitor updates from clients and internal teams.
• Ensure the advancement of tasks and communicate their status effectively.
• Escalate issues when necessary.
• Comprehend requirements for enhancement requests, author FDD documents, and document requirements and Dynamics solutions in Azure Dev Ops (ADO)/Client Care ticketing system.
• Deliver training on solutions to clients and internal team members.
• Keep detailed documentation of support cases, resolutions, and customizations, fostering knowledge sharing within the team and with clients.
• Ensure all cases are updated and the status is communicated appropriately.
• Collaborate with other internal teams to maintain a comprehensive view of overall customer efforts and initiatives.
• Conduct weekly client status calls to provide updates and align on priorities.
• Support project delivery efforts as necessary.
• Oversee clients' implementations and environments, including:
• Routine coordination of Microsoft one-version updates.
• Supervision of code deployments.
• Responsible for executing specific dedicated internal strategic initiatives – encompassing process design, documentation, resource planning, sales activities, and status reporting.
• Complete quarterly Client Care initiatives.
• Stay informed about the latest D365 F&SC updates, patches, and emerging features, making recommendations for system enhancements to clients.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Be prepared to work in various shifts (time zones) as required.
• Over 5 years of experience working with the D365 F&SCM Supply Chain module in an implementation team, managed services team, or a combination of both, performing functional analysis, troubleshooting, solution recommendations, and best practices guidance.
• Proficiency in D365 F&SC Supply Chain, WMS, and Production modules.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and contribute to a virtual team of functional/technical consultants operating from various locations across multiple time zones.
• Capability to work with technical resources to accurately estimate enhancement efforts for client modification requests, ensure necessary approvals are secured for system or solution changes, and, once approved, drive the solutions to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the capacity to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
• Effective multitasker who can address a variety of issues simultaneously.
• Microsoft Certification: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330 post Feb 2024, or MB-330 plus MB-300 pre-Feb 2024).
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems management, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
