Senior D365 Developer, Power Pages, Power Portals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and set up Power Pages and Power Portals sites, focusing on page layout, forms, lists, web templates, and site configurations.

• Create and sustain Liquid templates, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to deliver responsive and accessible external-facing experiences.

• Set up Power Pages authentication and authorization, incorporating external identity providers, web roles, table permissions, page permissions, and portal security.

• Develop portal navigation, content management systems, and user journeys.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to portal configuration, rendering, performance, and security.

• Assist with portal upgrades, environment refreshes, and ongoing maintenance tasks.

• Construct and configure model-driven applications, canvas applications, Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and command bar customizations.

• Create Power Automate flows to facilitate business processes, notifications, and system integrations.

• Configure security roles, forms, views, and business logic in Dataverse.

• Implement application lifecycle management (ALM) and solution management practices, including solution layering, managed and unmanaged solutions, and environment promotion.

• Develop and test integrations with third-party enterprise systems utilizing APIs, custom connectors, and Azure Integration Services.

• Execute API-based integration patterns, manage data exchange processes, and implement error handling and monitoring.

• Assist in data migration efforts, including extraction, transformation, loading, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.

• Conduct unit testing, functional testing, and resolve defects.

• Engage in code reviews and peer assessments.

• Maintain build documentation, configuration notes, deployment procedures, and handover materials.

• Monitor task progress, provide status updates, and identify risks or obstacles.

• Aid in estimation, sprint planning, and release processes.

• Collaborate with onshore solution architects, technical leads, functional consultants, offshore developers, testers, and client stakeholders across different time zones.

• Offer technical mentorship and support to junior developers.

• Contribute reusable components, templates, accelerators, and configuration patterns.

• Propose enhancements for build efficiency, code quality, and delivery processes.

• Uphold technical governance, coding standards, and deployment controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• 4 to 5+ years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or business applications.

• Extensive hands-on experience in creating Power Pages or Power Portals solutions, including forms, lists, web templates, Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS.

• In-depth understanding of Power Pages security, authentication, external identity providers, web roles, table permissions, page permissions, and portal architecture.

• Proficient in configuring model-driven and canvas Power Apps, Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles.

• Experience in developing Power Automate flows for business processes and integrations.

• Familiarity with integrating Power Platform solutions with third-party systems using APIs, custom connectors, or Azure services.

• Knowledge of Dataverse, Power Platform governance, environment management, and ALM, which includes solution layering, managed/unmanaged solutions, and environment promotion.

• Experience supporting data migration activities such as mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover.

• Experience with Agile or Hybrid delivery methodologies and Azure DevOps practices.

• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience in consulting or professional services is a plus.

• Preferred: Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure integration or development; experience with Dynamics 365 CE, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, generative AI, intelligent automation, mentoring, and working in regulated environments.
