Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, monitor, and manage enterprise risks within Unisys cloud environments

• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies

• Create and deploy security dashboards to provide real-time insights into vulnerabilities, threat intelligence, and risk metrics

• Assess, prioritize, and manage vulnerabilities in both applications and cloud infrastructure

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt remediation

• Set up and oversee the SIEM platform

• Evaluate new software requests from a security standpoint

• Implement and uphold a diverse array of security technologies and processes

• Advise business teams on best practices for cloud security

• Develop, fine-tune, and maintain AI agents and scripts to minimize manual efforts

• Assist the AI Security Architect in testing new AI capabilities

• Conduct audits of cloud environments to uncover security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance

• Participate in security risk assessments and incident response for cloud services

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience along with relevant training and certifications

• In-depth knowledge of cloud architectures, operations, and security controls

• 3-5+ years of experience in application security

• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar)

• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance requirements associated with cloud environments

• Proficiency in security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint protection

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in both cloud engineering and security operations

• Demonstrated experience in managing cloud security incidents

• Conducted cloud security audits, compliance assessments, and provided recommendations to enhance security posture

• Experience in handling event streams in cloud platforms
