Senior Cybersecurity Advisor – Identity Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Actively engage in the Identity Field Center of Excellence to provide value to clients by aligning Optiv services with solutions from our key technology partners (including SailPoint, Saviynt, Ping, Okta, Cisco, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, and Delinea, among others).

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the client's security environment, business operations, security requirements, and risk tolerance.

• Recognize security issues and their relation to Optiv’s strategic solutions within the assigned domain and overarching cybersecurity programs.

• Discover cross-sell and upsell opportunities among clients and Optiv's partner associations.

• Qualify leads and collaborate with internal teams to define scope, manage proposals, and ensure successful closure.

• Work alongside service delivery to guarantee that the team possesses the necessary supporting domain-specific materials for a cohesive and thorough approach.

• Collaborate effectively with multiple client personas within the security leadership team, as well as other relevant individuals, to formulate security strategies and define roadmaps that align with business objectives, budget allocations, and metrics based on return on investment.

• Engage in account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent qualifications alongside relevant work experience.

• At least eight (8) years of experience in an information security role, ideally as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer with a focus on Identity Governance, Digital Access Management (MFA/SSO), Privileged Access Management, and Identity Orchestration.

• Strong business and technical insight, with the capacity to lead technology-driven discussions.

• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills for client interactions, including whiteboard sessions and various other presentation formats.

• Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing statements of work (SOWs), quotes, and client deliverables.

• Maintains a broad knowledge of security-related topics and continuously enhances expertise in various domains across the portfolio.

• Vendor-specific certifications primarily focused on specialization such as CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP, or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications.

• Experience in conveying and advocating technology vision at events.

• Prior experience leading an information security function or program.

• Membership and active participation in organizational chapter meetings such as ISACA, ISSA, etc.
