Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead both business and security advancements in the role of a Security Architect.

• Offer strategic guidance for the enterprise technology landscape.

• Assist in the development and standardization of security architecture.

• Conduct security assessments and evaluate system designs with a focus on security elements.

• Counsel key stakeholders and service owners regarding risk management practices.

• Establish standards and guardrails, and create secure design patterns.

• Engage in proof-of-concept initiatives or pilot projects involving emerging technologies.

• Foster relationships, develop repeatable processes, and create valuable resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in architecting secure computing systems.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• Enthusiasm for emerging technologies, including Generative AI.

• Capacity to collaborate and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Extensive experience in designing and building secure cloud-native solutions, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework or Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.

• Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and experience in reviewing infrastructure configurations or changes in this format (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.).

• Strong grounding in the cybersecurity landscape, particularly in identity and access management, network access control, and secure configuration management.
