Senior AI Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on the creation of secure-by-default frameworks for LLM integration and workflows.

• Lead security architecture assessments for MCP integrations.

• Develop and manage AI threat modeling and red teaming capabilities.

• Design and implement secure data pipelines for AI systems.

• Work closely with IT, Information Security, and practice group leaders to assess AI vendor integrations.

• Create and uphold security standards and engineering guidelines for AI development.

• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in application security, cloud security, or AI/ML engineering, with a minimum of 2 years concentrating on AI system security.

• Practical experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Proven experience in AI threat modeling.

• Strong understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience in securing agentic AI systems.

• Relevant certifications (OSCP, GREM, Azure Security Engineer, or similar) are preferred.
