Lead Engineer – Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate security discovery workshops with client stakeholders to identify security requirements.

• Convert high-level architectural needs into actionable security user stories, tasks, and implementation roadmaps.

• Assess technical trade-offs between native cloud solutions and agnostic platforms.

• Create and document comprehensive cloud security frameworks tailored to client environments.

• Record existing client controls and packages to ensure compliance with SOC 2 and HITRUST.

• Set up early-stage governance, security processes, and compliance tracking for AI initiatives.

• Outline long-term maintenance, security protocols, and architecture health policies.

• Formulate policies for routine code scanning and automated code review workflows.

• Prioritize and manage remediation plans in collaboration with core client development teams.

• Supervise security preparations for critical next-phase applications.


⛳️ Requirements

• 6 to 12 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security architecture.

• Demonstrated expertise in cloud-centric API security, identity access management, network security, and data protection.

• Significant experience with vulnerability scanning tools, code verification platforms, and tracking development remediation efforts.

• Outstanding written communication abilities.

• Strong industry experience in Healthcare Technology, HIPAA compliance, or patient/provider data security environments.

• Practical experience in preparing technical architectures for SOC 2 and HITRUST audit frameworks.

• Profound understanding of cloud ecosystems, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Relevant professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP).
