Senior Cyber Software Tool Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, development, and maintenance of web applications utilizing the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural framework.

• Create, test, and deploy software using programming languages and frameworks that align with the organization’s technology stack.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure that solutions align with business objectives, and provide technical support to address issues.

• Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications that support cybersecurity operations.

• Implement new features using ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL Server.

• Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for large enterprise datasets.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot intricate issues across application code, SQL Server, and production environments.

• Automate manual cybersecurity and compliance tasks through software solutions.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and system stakeholders to convert operational requirements into technical solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, testing, deployments, and activities for continuous improvement.

• Contribute to the maintenance and modernization of existing applications while also developing new capabilities.

• Document technical designs, database modifications, and application functionalities.

• Proficient in working across the entire application stack, which encompasses database, backend services, web applications, and production troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Five (5) years of direct experience in Software Engineering.

• Proficient in designing SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions, indexes, and performing query optimization.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices: Azure DevOps, Git, Pull Requests, CI/CD, and work item management.

• Experience with any of the following programming languages: C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, ASP.NET MVC.

• Knowledge of software tools such as ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, REST APIs, JSON, jQuery, Bootstrap, DataTables, IIS, Azure DevOps, and Git.
