This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to create secure solutions, conduct threat modeling, and evaluate designs for cloud, container, and service-based architectures.
• Establish and uphold secure configurations, network segmentation, and identity and access controls for public cloud environments, primarily AWS.
• Apply secure coding practices, manage vulnerabilities, oversee secrets management, and implement runtime protections for services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and sustain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for security events; lead incident response efforts and post-incident reviews to facilitate remediation and lessons learned.
• Assist ENSEK’s 24/7 Incident Management processes to maintain security and stability for clients.
• Automate security checks, policy enforcement, and remediation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD integrations, and custom tools where applicable.
• Collaborate with Risk, Legal, and InfoSec teams to integrate controls that align with regulatory, privacy, and contractual obligations across new regions.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity within cloud-native environments, DevOps, or platform engineering contexts.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security, including practical experience in securing AWS services, IAM, networking, KMS/secrets, and managed services.
• Expertise in container and orchestration security, specifically in securing Kubernetes and related tools (runtime protection, admission controllers, image scanning).
• Proficient in detection and monitoring, with hands-on experience in logging, metrics, and tracing for security-related use cases.
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code and automation, with proficiency in Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD integration to enforce policies and automate remediations.
• Familiarity with security tools, including Secure Web Gateways, IDP, IDS, EDR, SAST, DAST, and WAF technologies.
• Strong scripting and development abilities, with comfort in writing automation and tools using Python, Go, Bash, or similar programming languages.
