Senior Cyber Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and execution of all-encompassing compliance programs in accordance with various frameworks.

• Set up and oversee compliance platforms for clients.

• Act as a secondary point of contact between Rhymetec clients and Security Program Managers during project implementation.

• Participate in weekly meetings with clients who have high priority and sensitive projects.

• Function as a secondary liaison between clients and auditors during compliance evaluations.

• Facilitate training sessions on compliance obligations and security best practices with Client Security Advisors (CSAs).

• Complete security questionnaires on behalf of clients.

• Conduct Incident Response Tabletop exercises in collaboration with clients.

• Carry out Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery tabletop exercises with clients.

• Work together to develop and manage comprehensive risk management programs for Rhymetec clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a Technology or Cybersecurity discipline OR a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the specified areas.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in technology, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience in customer service with the ability to foster professional relationships with clients.

• Preferred experience in interpreting and implementing SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and other compliance standards.

• Strong skills in logical security, with background in cloud security.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and the integration of security controls through DevOps and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) methodologies.

• Preferred Certifications: Cloud+, CySA+, CISSP, CSSP, CISM, CRISC.
