This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.
• Take ownership of the entire model lifecycle — encompassing data, labeling, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and feedback.
• Enhance detection and segmentation models to perform effectively across a variety of real-world conditions, lighting scenarios, and environments.
• Collaborate with the validators team to develop labeling, testing, and validation processes — including taxonomies, guidelines, QA loops, and active learning.
• Establish evaluation methodologies; pinpoint weaknesses and implement solutions.
• Maintain close relationships with customers and the product team — understanding what they value influences model priorities.
• Implement models on Triton, focusing on latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Lead research initiatives in areas such as pretraining, architectures, and multi-stage pipelines.
• Over 5 years of experience in CV/ML with a senior-level expertise.
• Profound knowledge of the complete CV model lifecycle.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality production CV models that are resilient in real-world conditions, effectively addressing edge cases.
• Methodical approach — you can identify when evaluation, labeling, or training processes are malfunctioning and are able to rectify them.
• Business and product acumen — you comprehend how models generate revenue and prioritize business-impactful accuracy over mere precision.
• Proficient in YOLO (preferably YOLO 11, but any recent version is acceptable).
• Experience in designing labeling and annotation processes alongside annotation teams.
• Familiarity with Roboflow workflows or similar systems (including dataset versioning, labeling, and augmentation).
• Knowledge of Triton deployment and optimization (or similar serving infrastructure).
• Understanding of MLOps fundamentals — including experiment tracking, model versioning, evaluation, and production monitoring.
• Strong proficiency in PyTorch and production-level Python (beyond just notebooks).
• Fluent or native Russian speaker (mandatory).
• Proficient in English at a B1 level or higher.
