Senior Customer Reliability Engineer – Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Deliver solutions to clients, ensuring their success with our products.

• Diagnose customer environments and actively engage in triaging issues alongside customers.

• Supply insights to product development teams regarding customer needs and challenges.

• Develop and enhance our monitoring and alerting systems.

• Construct and uphold automation processes to guarantee daily operational tasks are executed as efficiently as possible.

• Guide the architectural direction of the products and contribute where feasible.

• Take ownership of the customer experience by collaborating directly with clients to prioritize and resolve issues, meet SLAs, and offer “white glove” assistance on their journey to production.

• Engage remotely within a fully distributed team.

• Improve and enrich customer documentation.

• Work with cutting-edge technology and multi-cloud implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience, ideally with large, complex cloud infrastructures operating at scale.

• At least 4 years of experience with Kubernetes.

• Experience in managing a production distributed system with at least one major cloud provider (including but not limited to: AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Strong expertise in Linux.

• Understanding of how to operate and monitor issues in distributed systems.

• Previous experience in addressing customer issues (both internal and external).

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Experience with DevOps or CI/CD practices.

• Proficiency in Python scripting.

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities.

• Bonus points for:

• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes Custom Resources.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure.

• Experience with Airflow/Big Data orchestration.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
