This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the Senior GEV representative and main point of contact for customers during upgrade and repair projects.
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships and facilitate issue resolution.
• Oversee project execution in areas such as engineering, procurement, logistics, field/outage execution, and performance demonstration.
• Advocate for timely delivery, fulfillment of contract obligations, and achievement of profit margins.
• Analyze and apply contract terms and conditions.
• Administer pricing, costs, forecasts, margins, invoicing, receivables, and risk management provisions.
• Coordinate project timelines with the Planner/Scheduler.
• Recognize, mitigate, and escalate project risks as necessary.
• Manage and communicate project alterations through established change management protocols.
• Maintain project scope, schedule, financial, and risk information in the management system.
• Provide updates on project status and facilitate project reviews.
• Document lessons learned, best practices, and instances of Cost-of-Poor Quality.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 8 years of experience in power generation equipment, such as gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, or HRSGs.
• Relevant experience may encompass field engineering, commercial roles, engineering, sourcing, repair, power plant operations, and/or maintenance, or a similar position.
• Willingness to travel around 25% of the time.
• Achieve Gas Power Services PMO Project Manager Qualification within 24 months of assignment, including necessary training, review board participation, and PMP certification or an equivalent qualification.
• Sustain PMO Project Manager Qualification through continuous training and recertification.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP/PMLP) is preferred, with experience in customer-facing and technical scope roles.
• Proficient in leading cross-functional teams, effective communication, and promoting transparency.
• Strong skills in planning, organization, and adaptability.
• Proactive in learning tools and adept at navigating cultural and contractual complexities.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
