
Senior Customer Gas Power Project Manager – CM & Upgrade

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the senior GE Vernova representative and main customer contact for designated upgrade and repair projects.
• Cultivate stakeholder relationships and facilitate issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project execution across engineering, procurement, logistics, field/outage execution, and performance demonstration.
• Ensure timely delivery, fulfill contract obligations, and achieve margin targets.
• Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions effectively.
• Manage pricing, expenses, forecasts, margins, invoicing, receivables, and risk provisions.
• Collaborate with the Planner/Scheduler to drive project timelines.
• Identify and address project risks while escalating as necessary.
• Oversee project changes through established change management procedures.
• Maintain project scope, schedule, financials, risk management, and documentation within the management system.
• Provide regular status updates and lead project review sessions.
• Document lessons learned, best practices, and instances of Cost-of-Poor Quality.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 8 years of experience in power generation equipment, including gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, or HRSGs.
• Experience may include roles in field engineering, commercial, engineering, sourcing, repair, power plant operations, maintenance, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Achieve Gas Power Services PMO Project Manager Qualification within 24 months of assignment, including training, completion of the review board, and PMP certification or equivalent.
• Maintain PMO Project Manager Qualification through continuous training and recertification.
• Project management certification such as PMP/PMLP is preferred, with experience in customer-facing and technical scopes.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering transparency.
• Strong planning, organizational skills, and adaptability.
• Capability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Proactive in learning tools and navigating cultural and contractual complexities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
