Senior C/Unix Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Creates design documentation and translates it into component-level designs to expedite development.

• Offers design expertise to support development teams in delivering flexible, reusable components that enhance cost efficiency.

• Evaluates, designs, and reviews application designs and suites of applications to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

• Serves as a liaison between application architects and development teams to ensure smooth coordination of product development and implementation.

• Collaborates with product development teams and senior designers to establish design requirements that align with company needs.

• Aids in the review and analysis of gathered information during technical research and assesses tools and methodologies to ensure adherence to prevailing industry, client, and company standards.

• Develops and supplies technical documentation; takes part in and supervises test-plan development, integration, and deployment.

• Engages in business process work sessions, project meetings, and joint applications development sessions to guarantee that product design decisions are effectively communicated to departmental personnel.

• Acts as a domain expert, working closely with software developers to clarify application design and coordinating activities between both functions to improve product quality and efficiency.

• Leverages experience in development methodologies, coding documentation, testing methodologies, and industry standards to define and create project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed designs of application solutions for clients.

• Provides leadership and guidance to less experienced personnel.

• Directs the work of junior developers to create, maintain, and communicate specifics of application designs to ensure alignment with specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of three years of experience in product design and support.

• Familiarity with software design, the software development life cycle, and development methodologies and implementations.

• Knowledge of product systems design principles.

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software.

• Understanding of company application development policies and procedures.
