Senior CSA Estimator – Data Center Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee cost plans and detailed estimates from initial concept through to comprehensive design across various regions.

• Facilitate estimate reviews with both internal and external teams.

• Deliver milestone cost updates and articulate the basis of estimates, including assumptions, inclusions/exclusions, and associated risks.

• Lead quantity takeoffs and cost verifications for intricate, multi-package CSA scopes.

• Provide program-level estimating across diverse projects and campuses.

• Evaluate contractor pricing, bids, pay applications, and change orders; formulate recommendations.

• Drive benchmarking and cost modeling utilizing historical cost data and metrics.

• Assist with life-cycle cost analyses.

• Promote value engineering and create cost/benefit alternatives.

• Aid procurement and preconstruction initiatives, including prequalification, bid lists, bid analysis, tender reporting, and contract documentation.

• Collaborate with cost management, procurement, and project controls teams.

• Evaluate design modifications and produce timely updates to estimates.

• Mentor and coordinate support staff effectively.

• Contribute to the development of training materials, templates, and estimating tools.

• Prepare content suitable for leadership presentations for client preconstruction and estimating sessions.

• Comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field in construction.

• A minimum of 5–7 years of applicable experience.

• Background in a construction cost management position such as Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Cost Controls.

• Experience in providing conceptual estimating and/or pre-construction services at a construction management or similar firm.

• Proven experience supporting large-scale construction projects and programs.

• Strong understanding of construction industry technical issues, including value management and value engineering.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Must be physically located in the United States.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
