This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Formulate the strategy. Take ownership of the advertising creative strategy across Meta and YouTube (expanding to TikTok and Pinterest), from the initial concept through weekly launches.
• Lead the team. Manage and nurture a small in-house team of creators, video editors, and designers, along with freelance talent — providing briefs, reviews, and direction that elevate the quality of every advertising sprint.
• Craft compelling content. Develop hooks, scripts, and creative briefs rooted in consumer psychology and direct-response principles, rather than trends alone.
• Conduct thorough research. Investigate customers, competitors, and category trends (including monitoring competitor advertisements) to discover creative angles worth exploring.
• Test rigorously. Implement a structured, weekly testing schedule — monitoring hook rates, CTR, CPA, and ROAS — and leverage the data to make informed decisions about what to iterate, scale, or discontinue.
• Collaborate across functions. Work closely with media buying, marketing, and brand teams to ensure that every asset aligns with the strategy and brand identity.
• Develop your team members. Mentor and enhance your team's skills while managing multiple campaigns in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
• Over 5 years of experience in performance creative, growth marketing, or advertising creative strategy, with a proven history of campaigns that significantly impacted CTR, CVR, CPA, or ROAS.
• Extensive experience in creating advertising content for Meta, including short-form stories, reels, static images, and videos, with a primary focus on video ads.
• Significant experience in YouTube advertising, covering various formats such as six-second bumpers, YouTube Shorts, creator-led paid videos, testimonial ads, and Demand Gen creative.
• At least 2 years of experience managing personnel directly — whether as direct reports, an in-house creative team, or a group of freelance creators and designers — with concrete examples of how you've developed and guided that team's output.
• Profound, practical knowledge of consumer psychology and direct-response advertising principles (think Schwartz, Ogilvy, Halbert) — you can articulate why an ad is effective, not just that it is.
• Proficiency with creative performance tools and workflows (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Ads Library, Foreplay, Motion, North Beam, or similar) — while you may not be an analyst, you can interpret the data independently.
• A portfolio or reel showcasing campaigns you've led or briefed, complete with performance context you can discuss.
• Experience in health, wellness, supplements, or CPG is a strong advantage, but a genuine interest in the category is essential.
• Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through — you can manage multiple campaigns and creative sprints simultaneously without losing focus.
• Must be based in the United States and available to work during core U.S. business hours; this position is remote.
• Health benefits become available after 60 days.
• 401(k) benefits with employer matching are available after 60 days.
• Paid time off and paid holidays.
• Paid family leave.
• Remote work stipend.
• Education and professional development stipend.
• Monthly Truvani store credit.
