Senior Counsel – Commercial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of commercial contracts from start to finish

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a comprehensive range of commercial agreements

• Create and enhance playbooks, templates, and standard positions

• Assist with small acquisitions in collaboration with the General Counsel

• Evolve into a generalist role across various areas of in-house practice

• Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with multiple teams

• Act as a client-facing representative for the company

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Active law practice license in good standing

• Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in commercial transactions

• Proficient drafting and negotiation skills

• Experience with M&A or other corporate transactional activities

• Proven ability to leverage AI and technology tools

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities

• High integrity, strong sense of ownership, and a service-oriented mindset
