This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create persuasive case themes to counteract plaintiff tactics aimed at eliciting sympathy or anger.
• Manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently.
• Collaborate effectively with attorneys across various levels of experience.
• Maintain regular communication with clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with current and potential clients of the firm.
• Offer guidance and leadership to junior attorneys.
• Oversee all aspects of litigation discovery and trial preparation.
• Take charge of high-exposure insurance defense cases, exercising autonomy and strategic judgment.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited institution.
• Must possess an active California bar license.
• At least 8 years of substantial litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Capability to manage comprehensive case responsibilities, including all aspects of discovery and trial.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in handling insurance defense cases.
• Familiarity with time management systems is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative with minimal oversight.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
• Annual billable hours bonus starting at $10,000, with an additional $7,500 for each subsequent tier.
