Senior Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare, evaluate, negotiate, and oversee a diverse array of commercial agreements, including contracts with customers, vendors, partners, and SaaS agreements.

• Collaborate with various teams, including sales, marketing, product development, HR, and leadership, to offer practical legal advice that fosters business growth.

• Assist the privacy and security team with issues related to privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance that affect the organization.

• Recognize legal and operational risks, delivering straightforward, business-focused recommendations to facilitate confident decision-making.

• Contribute to the development of scalable legal processes, templates, and workflows that enhance organizational efficiency.

• Support corporate, operational, and strategic legal issues as the organization continues to expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.

• Over 4 years of legal experience, ideally featuring a mix of large law firm and in-house experience.

• Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.

• Experience providing legal and operational risk advice to business stakeholders.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities autonomously.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Experience in implementing AI-assisted legal workflows and contract management is a bonus.

• Background in technology, ecommerce, SaaS, advertising, or digital media environments is an advantage.
