This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support to business units throughout the organization, assisting stakeholders with a diverse range of legal requirements.
• Independently draft and negotiate various commercial agreements with customers, vendors, and partners.
• Work closely with customer-facing teams to enable high-volume sales activities.
• Assist in developing new and enhanced processes and procedures to ensure that the Legal and Compliance department at Cardlytics operates efficiently, is well-organized, and maintains a world-class standard.
• Advocate for the vision of the Legal and Compliance Department across the organization, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and safeguarding the company in all aspects.
• Utilize your legal expertise to identify solutions to intricate problems, going beyond merely highlighting issues.
• Aid in navigating rapidly evolving data privacy legislation to guarantee that the company's policies and procedures remain proactive and ahead of the curve.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience.
• Experience in in-house roles, adtech, and privacy matters is advantageous.
• Proficiency in evaluating legal documents and identifying potential issues, whether dealing with a straightforward sales contract or a multi-million-dollar agreement that could alter the company's trajectory.
• Proven ability to influence decisions at all organizational levels and align stakeholders and teams toward a unified solution.
• Comfort with complex business and technical concepts, consistently demonstrating sound judgment when facing challenging trade-offs.
• A history of managing competing business needs and devising innovative solutions that address the concerns of all stakeholders.
