Senior Corporate Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Coordinate professional and precise travel arrangements for VIP clientele.

• Deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Work the shift from 11 AM to 8 PM ET.

• Arrange air travel, hotels, car rentals, trains, tours, and ground transportation at the most competitive prices while adhering to corporate travel policies.

• Follow and recommend enhancements to company procedures regarding customer service, PNR and profile documentation, ticketing, invoicing, attendance, and accuracy.

• Maintain full responsibility for each record until departure, ensuring seat assignments, meal preferences, upgrades, and other details are handled satisfactorily.

• Investigate and resolve travel-related issues with management involvement and support.

• Accurately apply airline regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements.

• Engage in training opportunities to enhance skills.

• Maintain proficiency in Sabre through relevant training programs.

• Manage rerouting and exchange processes effectively.

• Stay informed on technology and industry developments, including ALTOUR intranet tools.

• Involve management in problem-solving processes.

• Support other agents working on the account.

• Conduct office functions to enhance operational efficiency.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the travel industry.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• 7–10 years of proficiency and knowledge in Sabre software.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the industry.

• Skilled in all facets of ticketing transactions.

• Proficient in managing international itineraries and understanding rate structures.

• Familiarity with online booking tools.

• Experience serving premium travelers.

• Strong attention to detail, conscientiousness, and adaptability.

• Capable of problem-solving and demonstrating initiative.

• Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Eagerness to learn new functions and improve existing skills.

• Patience and flexibility are essential.

• Regular and reliable attendance, along with punctuality.

• Ability to comprehend instructions, interpret documents, and apply abstract principles to complex tasks.

• Competence in understanding spoken language, responding effectively, analyzing information, writing reports, comprehending intricate issues, and communicating effectively with diverse groups.

• Skillful in performing basic arithmetic accurately and calculating rates and percentages.

• Capable of communicating effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to remain seated for extended periods and perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.

• Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, conferences, strategic planning sessions, industry events, and internal events.
