Senior Corporate Solicitor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients on a wide array of corporate transactions

• Assist businesses in their growth, investment, and strategic development initiatives

• Oversee transactions independently

• Work alongside colleagues on larger and more intricate matters

• Offer advice on mergers, acquisitions, business exits, and disposals

• Represent investors during investment rounds and strategic investments

• Support company clients throughout funding rounds

• Counsel on founder equity and shareholder arrangements

• Manage corporate restructures and group reorganizations

• Draft and provide counsel on shareholder agreements and corporate governance issues

• Advise on the formation of companies and structuring for growth-oriented businesses

• Deliver general corporate advisory services for founder-led and high-growth firms

• Collaborate with investors, founders, boards, senior leadership teams, and in-house legal departments

• Offer pragmatic, commercially-oriented advice on complex transactions and strategic goals

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of PQE with substantial experience in corporate transactional work

• Proven ability to manage corporate transactions independently

• Experience in supporting colleagues on larger or more complex deals

• Familiarity with investment and/or finance transactions is advantageous but not mandatory

• Proactive and commercial mindset when advising clients

• Strong skills in drafting, negotiation, and project management

• Excellent abilities in client relationship and stakeholder management

• Team-oriented and collaborative

• Capability to adapt to new systems and technologies

• Interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and productivity

• Solid proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Confidence in navigating SharePoint for work management and collaboration

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, modern, and technology-driven environment

• Attention to detail when preparing documents

• No client following is necessary
