Senior Corporate Loan Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather and confirm documentation necessary for the underwriting of loan files.

• Liaise with customers and Loan Officers to secure documentation required for final loan approval.

• Interact with companies to obtain vendor details, including employment verification, title commitments, and payoff information.

• Ensure vendor orders and invoices are accurately completed, returned, received, and documented.

• Review and assess borrowers' credit, income, and assets in accordance with loan program specifications.

• Compile comprehensive loan packages prior to underwriting.

• Identify any missing, incomplete, inaccurate, or potentially problematic documentation.

• Prepare summaries for loan approvals regarding missing documentation.

• Transfer fully documented files to underwriters for approval or denial.

• Oversee a pipeline of 40 active loans and ensure a minimum funding of 27 units each month.

• Manage pipeline turnaround times in line with SLAs and projected closing dates.

• Participate in branch pipeline calls as necessary.

• Review loans to ensure compliance with RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Regulation B, and other mortgage regulations.

• Prepare disclosures and re-disclosures as mandated by regulations.

• Complete loan submission, re-submission, and closing checklists.

• Document communications related to loan applications in the LOS conversation log.

• Provide support for coworkers’ pipelines when required.

• Assist closing, secondary, and servicing teams with documentation to resolve suspense items.

• Adjust work schedule and occasionally work overtime based on business requirements.

• Carry out additional duties as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 3-5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.

• Familiarity with RESPA guidelines and mortgage and consumer lending regulations.

• Understanding of Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements.

• Knowledge of loan documentation.

• Previous experience using Encompass.

• Strong math and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficient with DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.

• Ability to complete required training classes by their deadlines.

• Willingness to adjust work schedule and occasionally work overtime as necessary.
